"Singing Lizards"

"When I started testreading the manuscript of 'Singing Lizards', I couldn't stop. I read and read the entire night. I felt like being there."

"It's a mystery as to where Claire is. I like the way it's kept a suspense. I related very well with the story and characters since I live in Kenya in Nairobi and am the same age as Bridget. I also have a sister. No, she's not lost. I would like to confirm the belief in witchdoctors and ancestors and the lateness and being slow."

Nadia, Nairobi Kenya, April 2013

"I could relate to the story, because it brought back memories of what Africa was like when I first moved here..."

Renate von der Burg, Johannesburg, August 2013

"I normally don't read books about Africa, because they are so clichéd. With this book it was different..."

Anne Rotteglia, Johannesburg, November 2012

Have you ever dreamt of travelling to Africa, but couldn't afford the ticket? Then invest in this book. I promise you, it feels in places, as if you were right there in Africa, searching for Claire. Evadeen Brickwood managed with her great style to create an atmosphere that had me practically watching a movie. A great story full of suspense that was convincing despite the first person perspective. And what's with the 'singing lizards', you ask - you better read about that yourself. A resounding recommendation for crime fans and those bookworms with wanderlust.
